Comet Whacked Neptune 200 Years Ago

Researchers studying href="http://www.universetoday.com/guide-to-space/neptune/atmosphere-of-neptune/" class="alinks_links" title="" rel="external">Neptune's atmosphere found evidence that a href="http://www.universetoday.com/guide-to-space/comets/" class="alinks_links" title="" rel="external">comet may have hit the href="http://www.universetoday.com/guide-to-space/the-solar-system/planet/" class="alinks_links" title="" rel="external">planet about two centuries ago. Was this a "cold-case" file re-opened, or did they discover a way to travel back in time to witness a long-ago event?
