firefox plugins that i didn't ask for

Why do I have these plug-ins in Firefox? I don't think I ever asked for any of them.

RockMelt Update - npRockMeltOneClick8.dll v. 1.2.189.1

iTunes Application Detector - npitunes.dll v. 1.0.1.1

Microsoft Office Live Plug-in for Firefox - npVE3D.dll v. 4.0.903.16005

Google Update - npGoogleOneClick8.dll v. 1.2.183.39

Windows Live� Photo Gallery - NPWLPG.dll v. 15.4.3502.922

Virtual Earth 3D 4.00090316005 plugin for Mozilla - npVE3D.dll v. 4.0.903.16005

I cannot recall asking for any of these to be added to Firefox and I have no idea what most of them actually do for me in Firefox. I've disabled them all but they really shouldn't be there in the first place. So what's going on here? And what on earth for does Google or Rockmelt need an Update plugin running in Firefox?
