Supersonic airplane for the Google Lunar X Prize

ARCA presented today the project of a supersonic carrier airplane for the Google Lunar X Prize Competition. The airplane, called E-111, will launch the Haas II moon rocket from 16.000 m altitude and Mach 1,5.


E-111 program aims to create a supersonic high altitude airplane intended to extend ARCA?s HAAS II rocket launch capabilities in the Google Lunar X Prize competition, and for developing space tourism related technologies.
