Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services Selected to Launch DigitalGlobe WorldView-3 Earth Imaging Satellite

DENVER, Colo. -- Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lockheed Martin Corporation [NYSE: LMT], announced today that it has been chosen by DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) to launch that company's next-generation, high-resolution Earth-imaging satellite, WorldView-3, on an Atlas V rocket. The commercial imagery satellite is scheduled to launch in 2014 from Vandenberg AFB, Calif. Financial terms were not disclosed.
